DAF SB220GS/ Plaxton Prestige

Go North East first took a batch of Plaxton Prestiges in 1997 to operate the trunk X66 route.  They were given a special silver livery, and then in mid 2001 they were repainted back into fleet livery and re-allocated to Go Northern with the delivery of the new Scania L94’s. In mid 1998-9 another batch was delivered and they too ran the X66 but without the silver livery. They were then sent to Go Northern.
